BOWIE WALKS, 1975!

This photo was one of a handful of photographs that changed my teenage life. Every publicist in L.A. saw this photo published and actually thought it was amusing. You need to understand that even back in 1975, before the internet, David Bowie was a god. He controlled his imagery like a hawk. I knew where he was recording and I was turned down for a photo pass for his local LA gig so I had nothing to lose. He thought is was a bit funny, smiled and said "good morning". I never saw him again.
